Thank you. Brian was a kind and generous neighbor and he will be missed so much. It’s been so nice to hear the tributes from his NPR colleagues and friends.
Oh Steve. More than anything, this one captured it and your sketch of Alex made me cry. What a beautiful tribute you have given him. The last thing he’d want, but I’m sure it is giving comfort to many.
Thanks Steve. This is beautiful. We couldn’t be there as we’re traveling. Brian was a dear, sweet man and his death is a loss to so many of us: family, friends and colleagues.
Thank you, Steve. I was never aware of him, all the times I listened to you on Morning Edition and other wonderful NPR programming. Now I am aware, and grateful. I feel bad for the suffering he experienced in his last years. But I'm glad for the silent impact he had on so many lives through his work at NPR.
We radio listeners revel in good sound. I’m glad you had the benefit of a colleague and friend who helped bring us the best possible weekday mornings. And sorry for your loss.
